Maintenance, Repair & Operations

Engineering and Maintenance teams are under tremendous pressure to reduce budget, labor, and operating costs while increasing production levels. This is particularly true in the Oil and Gas industry especially with current circumstances taking into account.

Additionally, the nature of offshore operations makes assets vulnerable to extreme weather and sea conditions that can also prevent engineers reaching locations quickly when machinery fails. Emergencies are not uncommon. All of which increases the importance of preventative maintenance and the need to have stock on site to deal with unplanned issues or at the very least have an efficient vendor ready to address every need that arises swiftly. Shutting down a production platform incurs very high costs from lost output.

By analysing operations over pre-defined periods, it is possible to improve the scheduling of planned maintenance based on the actual performance of components rather than assumptions about their service lifecycles.

We support our client’s operations by providing both reactive and preventative maintenance. A good MRO strategy is a combination of reactive and preventative maintenance with the over-arching target being to ensure limited to no downtime of business and technical operations for our clients.
